Rising makes Top 30 for Global Edtech Prize

Our WhatsApp-based AI math tutor Rori has been named to the Top 30 shortlist for the inaugural Global Edtech Prize from T4 Education, Owl Ventures, Digital Promise, and others. We’re sitting in the ‘Majors Category’ alongside some of the most iconic tools in the sector.

Why does Rori matter?

• Impact first. Independent evaluation results show Rori delivered a 0.37 SD lift in math scores for Ghanaian students in just eight months.

• Built for the real world. Rori works in low-connectivity, on low-cost devices, and with minimal (but imperative!) teacher support.

• Educators built and consistently choose Rori. Educators helped build Rori from day 1. And now, whenever we visit new schools, teachers and leaders ask, how can we get Rori in our school, too?
