LEAD Africa (LEAD) is a growing network of leadership academies that empower future leaders through quality education and sport. At present, LEAD has two academies – LEAD Monrovia Football Academy in Monrovia, Liberia (est. 2015) and LEAD Morocco in El Mansouria, Morocco (est. 2019) – that educate, train, and feed more than 150 boys and girls.

To support the global education response to COVID-19, LEAD has developed LEAD Learning. Through radio, SMS, and digital media, LEAD Learning delivers curated leadership and entrepreneurship content to primary and secondary students across the world. The courses augment standard subjects such as Math and Science to address the urgent needs of this moment: innovation, critical thinking, perseverance, entrepreneurship.

LEAD Learning launched in Liberia with the Ministry of Education, Orange, and UpMetrics on May 25, enabling the program to reach millions of children and track core metrics around listenership, student performance, and student retention. LEAD aims to expand LEAD Learning into as many countries as possible to support children's ongoing learning during this unprecedented crisis.
